Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm undergoes ankle surgery


Bayern Munich announced the title of Bundesliga soccer club contest holder (DFL) said on Thursday that team captain Philipp Lahm had surgery on a broken right ankle today and will remain in the hospital for a few more days.

The L suffered a broken ankle yesterday Tuesday and will run out of action for three months. Lam will return to action before the expiration of the Bundesliga winter break.
