Manchester United announced the absence of Dutch player Danny Blind for six months because of a knee injury.
Danny Blind and joined the ranks of Manchester United last summer from Ajax Amsterdam in a deal that cost the Man U 14 million pounds.
Manchester United said through the official site that the Dutch international was injured in his knee during a match with Latvia last Saturday, which ended in a 6-0 victory Netherlands.
