Obama will visit India next January

The White House announced Friday that President Barack Obama will visit India in January for talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and participate in the independence celebrations.

  Said White House spokesman Josh Earnest "The president will meet with the prime minister and officials in order to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and develop relationships."
